The British International School of Timisoara, the first international school in the west of the country, has inaugurated a new building, expanding its campus in the north of the city. With this new building, the campus will be able to accommodate up to 924 students.

Mulberry Development, founded by entrepreneur Ovidiu Șandor, was in charge of coordinating the construction of the new building, with Andreescu & Gaivoronschi as architectural partners and Morphoza studio as interior designer. The most important works on the new building were carried out by Metal Hammer Bau, Alusystem, Agasi and Melbo. The investment amounts to more than EUR 6 million.

"Nothing is more beautiful than seeing how these children grow up and are educated. In addition to a highly motivated, engaged and passionate faculty, these new facilities allow the school to grow and offer students various alternatives to explore their own passions, inclinations and desires. From art to science, from psychology to computer science, from sports to drama, BIST now offers the full range of subjects and extra-curricular programmes," says Ovidiu Șandor, Chairman of the Board of the British International School of Timișoara.
