Brno intends to sell land in Bieblova Street in the Černá Pole locality through an electronic auction. One of them also includes a former kindergarten. The lowest submission is CZK 25.570 million, said councilor for property Róbert Čuma (Pirates) today. Brno used an electronic auction for the first time last year, when it sold two dilapidated houses in the center for CZK 131 million.

The sale of both plots of land was previously approved by the council. The auction is organized by the municipal company CD Centrum Coms. "These are plots of land in the place where Bieblova Street connects to Generála Píky Avenue. On one side, it is adjacent to a number of panel apartment buildings, and on the other side, the building is used as the headquarters of the Elmont Group company," said Čuma.

Part of the sale is also the building of the currently unused two-class kindergarten. "From the city's point of view, this is surplus real estate for which we have no use. It should be sold in a public electronic voluntary auction," said Čuma. In the same way, the city wants to sell an unused house with land in Hybešova street, where it wants to get at least CZK 59.4 million.

Last year, Brno auctioned off two dilapidated apartment buildings in Milady Horákové Street in the first electronic auction. The starting price of two connected buildings was CZK 28.8 million, but in the auction the price rose to CZK 131 million.
