The Bucharest Municipal Committee for Emergency Situations has established the new restrictions for the next 14 days, which defines Red alert level for the Capital: The mask becomes mandatory in the open air in Bucharest; Schools and kindergartens will enter the red operating scenario, ie they will go online. The rule is valid for both state and private ones; Restaurants and cafes will close inside; Theaters and cinemas will close; The gambling halls will close.

Bucharest exceeded the rate of 3 per thousand inhabitants, followed by Alba County, with a rate of 2.95 per thousand inhabitants and Sălaj counties with 2.64 and Vâlcea with 2.52.
