CAERUS Debt Investments AG has granted a loan of 100 million Euros to refinance a real estate portfolio in the Netherlands. The first-ranking secured senior loan is for a term of four years.

The portfolio comprises 51 properties in 21 locations in the Netherlands, providing a total lettable area of around 115,000 square metres. The assets are around 93% let. The rental income is generated by a range of use types, including commercial (31%), residential (23%), light industrial (18%), office (14%), and the care and hotel sectors.

Peter Anthuber, CIO of CAERUS: "The Netherlands are a very attractive target market for us. We have been active there for years. What's more, in the future the widely-diversified real estate portfolio we are now financing will help to retain the high level of risk diversification in the funds we manage for institutional investors."

The portfolio is owned by one of the Netherlands’ leading private real estate investors. Benefiting around 30 years of experience in the investment market, they pursue a consistent strategic manage-to-core approach. The objective is to develop the properties sustainably, taking particular account of ESG criteria.
