Canada Goose buys a factory in Romania
Canadian clothing manufacturer Canada Goose, has taken over the Romanian luxury knitwear factory Paola Confecții, with which it has been working for several years and which produces, with over 250 employees, also for a number of other imposing brands, including Paul&Shark, Marks&Spencer, Benetton, Prada, Moncler and Valentino.
The deal marks the first acquisition of a factory outside Canada for Canada Goose. The company has eight manufacturing facilities, all in its home country, but has 51 permanent stores of its own in more than 40 countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia, including cities such as New York, Montreal, Tokyo, London and Paris.
The company's plan is to reach EUR 3 billion in revenue and 100 stores by 2028.
