Capgemini opened the Cyber Defense Center (CDC) in Poland, thus expanding the Group's CDC network. The new center in Katowice uses Capgemini's global experience in high-class services focused on data protection and threat analysis to support organizations in Europe and around the world in securing digital transformation processes and cloud solutions, improving IT resources and operational security. As the first CDC Capgemini of its kind in Eastern Europe, the facility will play a key role in protecting critical infrastructure throughout the region as well as globally.

The Katowice CDC will focus on securing infrastructure systems from many sectors. Capgemini experts will provide comprehensive project support, from the transition and migration of cybersecurity processes, through system configuration and project handover, to ongoing support to protect your organization's data, assets and identity. To maximize analytics performance, shorten MTTR, and enable cost-effective scaling, CDC is powered by cutting-edge technologies and solutions such as cloud-native security as well as artificial intelligence, embedded machine learning for full process synchronization and automation, and advanced search and analysis capabilities.

"In order to protect customer data and resources from constantly evolving threats, all CDC Capgemini are designed to provide organizations with the best components and resources necessary to prevent, detect and respond to security incidents. Based on innovative solutions, Capgemini's groups of certified cybersecurity experts around the world provide customers with better protection and intelligent systems to support the security of critical infrastructure,"says Geert van der Linden, Cybersecurity Business Lead at Capgemini.

"The new CDC in Katowice combines the basic functions related to ensuring cybersecurity, develops penetration tests, vulnerability management and threat analysis to ultimately support organizations around the world, focusing especially on Europe. The daily activities and solutions offered are complemented by key security services designed for specific industries, in accordance with both local regulations and technical requirements," adds Beniamin Poznański, Head of Projects & Consulting, Capgemini Polska.

The new Center in Poland complements the existing network of thirteen CDC Capgemini, including CDC Asturias (Spain) specializing in cloud and industrial solutions, CDC Inverness (UK) specializing in pharmaceutical solutions and forensics, CDC in Bangalore and Mumbai (India), which is the largest unit in the Group, also including the Identity and Access Management (IAM) factory, CDC in San Diego (NA), as well as satellite CDC in important regions such as Australia (Melbourne) and Europe (Paris; Utrecht). These centers support your Managed Security Services delivery capabilities by offering local and regional presence, with a commitment to sharing knowledge and information on global cybersecurity trends and threats, and the most effective response. As with other CDCs in the global network, the Katowice center will cooperate with many specialized partners under global agreements concluded with Capgemini.
