Carmen and Călin Lemnaru family to build four-star Hotel in Târgu Jiu

The family of entrepreneurs Carmen and Călin Lemnaru, from Gorj County, wants to build a four-star hotel with a spa center in the city of Târgu Jiu, the project being estimated at RON 60.4 million, excluding VAT. In this regard, a tender was initiated by the Crescendo company, equally controlled by the two spouses. The opening of the offers was scheduled for the second half of March.

The project will be built on a plot of land of almost 5,000 square meters, located in the historic center of Târgu Jiu and the exclusive property of Crescendo. The hotel will have over 70 rooms and will be four-star. Part of the value of the project is financed by the “Just Transition” program.

Founded in 1991, Crescendo operates in the restaurant sector and reported a business of RON 48.1 million and a net profit of 5.4 million lei in 2023.
