Catinvest inaugurates the newest hotel in Oltenia, Aparthotel Craiova
French real estate group Catinvest is expanding its presence in Oltenia with the opening of Aparthotel Craiova, an innovative project that redefines the standards of premium accommodation and hospitality. The new 12 million euro investment brings a touch of elegance and comfort to Craiova, offering a modern, fully equipped space suitable for both business travellers and those seeking relaxation and sophistication. In addition to its retail developments, Catinvest owns and manages a portfolio of over 38 luxury buildings in Paris, including properties on the Champs de Mars with direct views of the Eiffel Tower.
Designed by renowned designer Pascal Delmotte, Aparthotel Craiova stands out for its attention to detail and use of the highest quality materials. The 60 modern and spacious apartments, ranging from 55 to 85 square metres, are fully equipped and designed to provide a great experience, whether for business trips, romantic getaways or family stays.
”Aparthotel Craiova brings a new level of hospitality to the region. With modern design, first-class amenities and an intimate atmosphere, we offer a superior alternative to classic hotels. Our guests will discover the comforts of home in a space that combines luxury with functionality. The building is probably the best insulated in Craiova, offering both thermal and acoustic comfort. In addition, the aparthotel offers 24/7 services and benefits from a wide range of facilities”, underlines Bertrand Catteau, CEO of the Catinvest Group.
Rental prices start from 115 euros per night for a one-bedroom apartment and 200 euros per night for a two-bedroom apartment, with discounts available for guests staying longer than one night.
To ensure high quality sound insulation between the apartments, so that guests can sleep or work quietly, the investor has implemented an innovative system that is unique on the market. The walls are made of three layers of bricks, with a 10-millimetre soundproofing membrane in the middle, ensuring a noise reduction coefficient of 56 dB. A special membrane with a sound insulation coefficient of 41 dB has also been installed under the screed to minimise sound propagation between floors. These solutions exceed current sound insulation regulations, ensuring superior comfort and a first-class guest experience.
Another feature of the project is the modern HVAC system, complemented by underfloor heating that operates independently for each apartment. This solution allows guests to adjust the temperature to their personal preferences without relying on a centralised system. Underground parking with direct access to the reception or to the apartments adds to the comfort, while spacious terraces and balconies designed for relaxation create the ideal setting for outdoor moments before relaxing.
Cativest's overall strategy in Craiova is to create an area where people can enjoy the highest standard of living. With its 100,000 square metres of retail space and 24,000 square metres of Class A office space, ElectroPutere Parc, owned and managed by Catinvest, has already been recognised as the best place in the city to dine, have fun, shop or work. With the inauguration of Aparthotel Craiova, the park also became the best destination for accommodation, consolidating its position as a top multifunctional location in Craiova. Hotel guests will enjoy easy access to over 25 restaurants and 4 cafes just a few minutes' walk away, a VIP multiplex perfect for relaxing or organising conferences, a modern gym, a variety of shopping facilities and a full range of services from massages to pharmacies.
