The cement producer Romcim, owned by the Irish group CRH, bought the Bauelemente company, producing structural prefabs, from the businessman Michael Dietrich. The three Bauelemente factories acquired, located in Ariceştii Rahtivani (Prahova), Bolintin (Ilfov) and Cristian (Sibiu), will operate under the Bauelemente brand. The transaction received the approval of the Competition Council, and the value was not communicated.

"We are happy to welcome our new Bauelemente colleagues to Romcim and to the CRH family," said Monica Tudor, general manager of the Construction Materials division within Romcim.

The RTPR law firm assisted the cement producer Romcim in connection with the acquisition of the Bauelemente company and Schoenherr provided legal assistance to Romcim for the Competition Council.
