Cineplexx buys Grand Cinema Baneasa in Bucharest

In a multi-million-euro deal, Cineplexx, owned by the Austrian company Constantin Film, bought the Grand Cinema Digiplex at Baneasa Shopping City in northern Bucharest. Grand Cinema Digiplex has 13 screening halls on 14,000 sqm. The largest screening hall, Grand EPIKA, has a capacity of 500 seats. The seating capacity at the Baneasa mall cinema is 2,600. Cineplexx started operating in Romania in November 2018 at NEPI shopping centers.
