Cogito EU to join existing tenants at MLP Gliwice
Cogito EU, a leading supplier of parts for construction machinery, has secured a lease for 4,500 sqm of modern space at the MLP Gliwice logistics centre, with access to the premises set for November this year. The lease transaction was facilitated by CBRE.
MLP Group has finalized a new long-term lease agreement for its MLP Gliwice logistics centre. The contract allows Cogito EU to occupy state-of-the-art premises, which include over 4,300 sqm designated for warehouse use and additional space for modern staff amenities and offices. The agreement also includes dedicated parking for delivery vehicles and cars.
Cogito EU, renowned for its comprehensive delivery of parts for Caterpillar, Volvo, and JCB machines globally, is set to benefit from the high standards and excellent location of the MLP Gliwice centre.
“We’re happy to announce that our logistics centre in Gliwice has now reached its target area. The new tenant has leased space within one of our recently expanded facilities. We’ll also add on modern space to accommodate its office and staff amenity needs. We’re delighted to welcome the new client who has chosen MLP Gliwice. Our logistics centres stand out primarily for their excellent locations, high standards, enhanced functionalities and modern environmental sustainability solutions, as evidenced by the BREEAM certifications,” said Agnieszka Góźdź, Member of the Management Board and Chief Development Officer at MLP Group S.A.
Wojciech Szumiński, President of the Management Board at Cogito sp. z o.o., expressed satisfaction with the new arrangement. “We’re very pleased with the location and quality of the premises we’ve been offered at MLP Gliwice. We also appreciate MLP Group’s commitment and flexibility in fitting out the leased warehouse and office space to meet our expectations. This approach, marked by openness to specific client needs, aligns perfectly with our own operational strategy.”
Michał Kulig of CBRE highlighted the advantages of the location. “The client sought a modern warehouse location in Upper Silesia, close to their business headquarters. Key factors in their decision included the property’s proximity to the A1 motorway exit, high standard of the facility, and the developer’s flexibility in adapting the space to suit the tenant’s needs. We’re very happy to have successfully collaborated with MLP Group for many years and to have completed another successful deal together, and we thank our client for their trust.”
MLP Gliwice, featuring three Class A warehouse buildings with a total leasable area of approximately 53,000 sqm, is strategically located 6 km north of Gliwice city centre. Its proximity to the A1 motorway, connecting Tricity with the Czech border, and national road 78, linking the logistics park to Katowice airport, makes it an ideal hub for various businesses.
MLP Group’s strategy involves retaining completed logistics parks in its portfolio and managing them, with all projects characterized by attractive locations, built-to-suit solutions, and continuous support for tenants throughout the lease term.
