Colliers promotes Alexandru Atanasiu to Head of Construction Services and Board Member

Colliers announces the promotion of Alexandru Atanasiu to Head of Construction Services and Member of the Board of Directors. Previously, he held the position of Deputy Head of Construction Services and Asset Services. With extensive experience in asset, property, facility, and project management services, as well as in the operation of office and industrial buildings, Alexandru Atanasiu aims to support the long-term growth of all Colliers Construction's business lines: project management, design & build, monitoring, and technical due diligence, BOMA, and IPMS surveys. His efforts will contribute to Colliers' strategy of strengthening its position as a one-stop-shop partner for both tenants and real estate owners.

The Colliers team ended 2023 with a portfolio of over 17,000 sqm of office space for which it provided project management and general contracting services, and a portfolio of over 700,000 sqm for which it provided phase monitoring and bank draw approval services. As a result, Colliers Construction has become a single point of contact for all parties involved in the leasing and relocation process, overseeing developer financing draws, providing detailed technical reports for property acquisitions, and offering other advisory services. This focus has resulted in optimizing the final value of office fit-out projects by at least 10 percent and reducing the time taken to complete investments. Over the past two years, Colliers has managed budgets exceeding 10 million euro for office fit-out services and has reviewed construction works exceeding 160 million euro for monitoring projects and other consultancy services.
