Cometex acquires 11,460 sqm plot of land in Timisoara

Cometex, a real estate developer of retail parks, part of the Altex Romania group, has increased its share capital with a plot of land in the city of Timisoara, with an area of 11,460 sqm and valued by Colliers at EUR 2.3 million. Following the operation, the share capital increased from RON 35.121 million to RON 35.792 million.

The land contributed to the share capital of Altex Romania, which holds 11.72 percent after the transaction. The remaining shareholders are Dan Ostahie Holding - 33.33 percent, Real Estate - 35.15 percent, Altex Service - 6.79 percent and Despec International – 13 percent.

Cometex's expansion plan for the next two years includes several retail projects, exceeding 200,000 sqm of leasable area, in cities such as Bucharest, Timișoara, Brașov, Iași, Giurgiu, Focșani, Zalău, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Botoșani, Târgoviște, Călărași, etc.
