Cometex opens 9,000 sqm commercial park in Râmnicu Vâlcea

Cometex, the real estate division of Altex Group, has opened in Râmnicu Vâlcea, the Cometex Retail Park. With an area of over 9,000 sqm, the new project involved an investment of over EUR 11 million, which brought the company's portfolio to ten retail units located in Turnu Magurele, Huși, Giurgiu, Deva, Slatina, Satu Mare, Brașov, Dej, Vatra Dornei and Râmnicu Vâlcea.

Among the tenants of the new project are both Romanian and international brands, including Altex, Mobexpert, Maxi Pet, Pepco, Jysk, Penny and Kik.

"We will continue to invest locally and in other shopping destinations in the country, where we identify development potential. We remain true to our principles of building sustainable projects with a focus on environmental protection," says Dan Ostahie, Chairman of the Cometex Board of Directors.

Over the next two years, the company's expansion plans include more than 20 retail projects.
