Compa Sibiu together with Accor group opens a 121-room hotel in Sibiu

Automotive components manufacturer Compa Sibiu, a company with a turnover of almost 740 million lei in 2022, is entering the hospitality industry alongside the French hotel group Accor by opening a 121-room hotel in Sibiu under the Mercure brand.

The Mercure Sibiu Arsenal hotel will operate under a ten-year management contract between the Accor hotel group and local investor Compa S.A. Sibiu.

"Compa is one of Sibiu's traditional companies with a history of over 135 years. Our company has developed together with the city over the last century. We are happy to enter the hospitality industry together with our partner Accor. We hope that this will bring us closer to the community through an activity that will benefit both our company and the city," said Dan Băiașu, Commercial Director and Deputy General Manager of SC Compa SA.
