Concelex to complete Mihai Flamaropol ice rink project

The Capital City Hall has awarded Concelex and Concelex Engineering a contract worth RON 128.916 million, excluding VAT, to finalize the construction of the Mihai Flamaropol artificial ice rink. Other firms in the running included Erbașu Constructions, Strabag, and an association between Leviatan Design and Ubitech Constructions.

The project involves completing a comprehensive sports and leisure complex, which will feature an artificial ice rink, a multifunctional sports arena, and a spa center. The new facility will offer 3,100 seats, 110 parking spaces, and a spa center designed to accommodate up to 120 clients daily.

In the previous year, Concelex reported a substantial turnover increase to RON 1.226 billion, a 132% rise from 2022, and a net profit of RON 65.569 million, up 15% from the previous year. The company is led by businessman Daniel Pițurlea.
