Concens Investments appoints Tomáš Novotný as Managing Director

Concens Investments, the property development company known for its successful projects Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park and CE Park Nošovice industrial park, is preparing further expansion. In the Ostrava region
and other regions of the Czech Republic, it will be led by respected real estate professional Tomáš Novotný, who has been appointed Managing Director of Concens Investments. In his new role, he will bring to bear more than 23 years of experience in real estate investment and development of modern industrial and logistics properties.

Tomáš Novotný, who became CEO of Concens Investments in January 2024, will be responsible for expanding the company's market share, acquiring suitable land in key locations in the Czech Republic and developing new projects through to handover to end users.

Immediate expansion is planned in the vicinity of the successful Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park project, part of which was sold by Concens Investments to US real estate investment company EQT Exeter in 2021. Further details of the expansion will be announced in April 2024.

Tomáš Novotný has been active on the Czech real estate market since 2001. For the past eight years, he was a member of the investment committee of the ARETE real estate fund of qualified investors, where he was responsible for asset management and development of a real estate portfolio worth CZK 1.5 billion. Prior to that, he held the position of regional director at the property development company CTP Invest and served as COO at Point Park Properties (now P3).

Tomáš graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague and during his studies he completed a one-year scholarship at Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. In his spare time he enjoys family and sports, especially long distance triathlons. Among other things, he is the initiator and long-time organizer of the real estate triathlon Doksy Race, which traditionally takes place in September at Mácha Lake.

Concens Investments is a Czech real estate development company focusing on the preparation, development and leasing of modern industrial and logistics properties. In 2018, it launched the construction of Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park in Ostrava Mošnov, which currently comprises 180,000 sqm of prime industrial real estate leased to leading logistics and manufacturing companies. In 2021, Concens Investments sold part of this site, together with the production park in Nosovice, to the American real estate investment fund EQT Exeter. The developer's portfolio also includes two service centres built for Linde Material Handling in Hradec Králové and Velké Bílovice.
