Construction, assembly production prices in Poland up 2.5%

Construction and assembly production prices in Poland increased by 2.6 percent y-o-y in August, according to preliminary data published by Statistics Poland (GUS). In comparison with the previous month, price growth was reported in civil engineering (0.4 percent), construction of buildings (0.2 percent) and specialized construction activities (0.2 percent). In comparison with August 2019, price increases were reported for buildings construction (2.8 percent), civil engineering (2.6 percent) and specialized construction activities (2.3 percent), according to Statistics Poland.
