The construction of the first stage of the multifunctional building VÁCLAV has started in the centre of Ostrava on Kostelní náměstí. The building will offer apartments, office space and commercial units on an area of 4,424 m2. The developer of the project worth CZK 300 million. The general contractor of the completed stage is the Ostrava construction company HSF System.

The first stage also includes the relocation of public lighting and water management structures. Construction of the building itself is expected to start in 2024. The project is expected to be completed in 2026.

"The multifunctional building is a modern building complementing the city block in the heart of Ostrava's historic core. It is located in close proximity to the central Masaryk Square and Ostrava's oldest church, St. Wenceslas Church. The mass of the building sensitively respects the main entrance of the church," describes the prestigious location Jan Hasík, managing director of the ANTRACIT development group.

The project "Multifunctional House VÁCLAV" on Kostelní náměstí in the centre of Ostrava will offer
16 residential units on a total area of 1,333 sqm including 76 parking spaces, premium office space on a total area of 2,492 sqm and commercial space on a total area of 599 sqm.

"Due to the surrounding development, the entire multifunctional building will be divided into smaller and height-graded parts so that its appearance corresponds to the natural diversity of the surrounding development
in the city centre," adds Tomáš Kosa, Vice-Chairman of the Board of HSF System.

The proluka on Kostelní náměstí in the centre of Ostrava is a core area that is intended for development with residential or administrative buildings or spaces intended for civic amenities. The multifunctional building will be built on the site created by the redevelopment of the original town houses and will connect to the existing and proposed infrastructure.

The developer of the project "Polyfunctional House VÁCLAV" is the Czech-Slovak group ANTRACIT. The general contractor of the currently implemented stage is the construction company HSF System. ARKOS s.r.o. is behind the architectural design of the multifunctional house.
