Continental purchase Kromberg & Schubert wiring factory in Timisoara

The German manufacturer of wiring and electrical systems for the automotive industry Kromberg & Schubert sold the factory in Timişoara to the Continental Group, according to sources from the local automotive industry.
Continental acquired the factory in Timişoara to expand Contitech's production capacity, which produces installations for automotive air conditioning systems as well as transmission belts.
The sale decision was made a few months after Kromberg & Schubert rented 2,000 sqm of offices in the Vox Technology Park project in Timisoara for a research and development office where 200 employees now work.
