“Cora becomes Carrefour” campaign ready to be launched

Cora hypermarkets and convenience stores acquired by Carrefour will now enter a gradual rebranding process, to be completed by the end of 2024. During this time, the 10 hypermarkets acquired will remain open as far as possible during the process, while the 9 convenience stores will be closed for a short period. At the same time, the Carrefour Romania team is growing by more than 2,000 employees, who have been ensuring Cora's business in Romania.

Cora hypermarkets will start the transformation process at the end of 2023, when the “Cora becomes Carrefour” campaign will also be launched.

In Romania, Carrefour has 413 stores, including 44 hypermarkets, 190 supermarkets and 151 convenience stores.
