Croatia’s HEP plans to build 10 MW solar power plant

Croatian power utility Hrvatska Elektroprivreda plans to build a solar photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 12.96 MW, according to the economy ministry.

The solar park, Belgrad, will be built on a land plot of 145,248 sqm in the Vinodol municipality in the northern Adriatic county of Primorje-Gorski Kotar. Its projected annual electricity production is 16,770 MWh.

HEP submitted a request for an environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the project in September 2022. Hrvatska Elektroprivreda is among the biggest companies in SEE.
