CTP, a leading industrial real estate developer, has acquired a 140,000 sqm plot of land within the Pomeranian Investment Centre (PCI), strategically located near the largest container terminal on the Baltic Sea. This land, purchased from the Gdańsk Economic Development Agency, will be used to further develop the CTPark Gdańsk Port industrial and logistics complex.

The expansion follows the successful construction of two buildings, totaling 117,000 sqm, as part of the initial phase of CTPark Gdańsk Port. The complex has attracted major tenants, including NEFAB Packaging Poland, Morska Agencja Gdynia, and BayWa r.e. With the new land acquisition, CTP plans to offer a mix of traditional large-scale warehouse spaces (CTSpace) and smaller rental units (CTPBox and CTFlex), catering particularly to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

“Our entry into the Pomeranian warehouse market has been a success, prompting us to expand with more production and logistics facilities,” said Piotr Flugel, Managing Director at CTP Poland. “These new formats will provide SMEs with the infrastructure for flexible, sustainable growth.”

The Pomeranian Investment Centre, where CTPark Gdańsk Port is located, serves as a key logistics hub for the adjacent Port of Gdańsk and the Baltic Hub deep-water terminal, offering robust infrastructure for maritime, offshore, and TSL sectors.

Marek Ossowski, Vice President of InvestGDA, emphasized the significance of CTP’s continued investment, noting the economic benefits for the city of Gdańsk, including increased property tax revenue and ongoing income from the use of the internal road system.

With this acquisition, CTP’s land bank in Poland now exceeds 3 million sqm. The developer has already secured 580,000 sqm of investment land across five strategic locations in the first half of this year alone, aligning with its strategy to invest EUR 300 million annually in Poland, a key growth market for the company.
