CTP's Brno coworking space Clubco expands to 4,000 sqm
From September, CTP's Clubco, the state-of-the-art coworking space in Brno, have added further 2,000 sqm of shared office space to its offering. Two new floors in Brno's Vlněna complex opened shortly after the celebration of the first year of this coworking space, which dominated the ‘Offices of the Year 2022’ competition (Kancelář roku 2022) in the ‘Hub & Coworking’ category. The availability of flexible offices in regions outside of Prague has grown by almost 40% in the last 3 years and Clubco is one of the top hubs of shared office space in those regions.
CTP is responding to the growing demand for flexible offices by expanding the Clubco coworking space. According to Cushman & Wakefield's data, focusing on flexible workspaces of over 250 sqm, the South Moravia region, where the developer is actively engaged in the office space market, saw the biggest increase in interest in the first half of this year. Clubco is the second largest provider of this type of office space outside of Prague. Apart from the capital city, it accounts for over 14% of the total flexible space offered in the Czech Republic.
"The flexible office market has recovered significantly in the first half of 2022. Demand is generated by both start-ups and large corporations, where we recognise uncertainty and difficult decisions being made regarding the fu-ture size of their office space. In fact, many of the companies have started to monitor the utilisation of their exist-ing office space, which is fundamentally affected by the massive increase in home working, only this year. They therefore often prefer to rent flexibly," said Radka Novak, Head of Office Agency CEE, Cushman & Wakefield.
Clubco is now opening an additional 2,000 sqm of flexible shared space, giving clients a total of 4,000 sqm of unique shared space. In addition to the novel architecture, the coworking space features high-tech gadgets and a wide-ranging selection of areas for freelancers, start-ups, and small and medium-size companies. The new coworking space offers 50 fully equipped offices, 6 meeting rooms, as well as phone booths, with leases ranging from few hours to long-term. Clients can easily book the desired space using an online app, where they can manage their membership and connect with other users.
