Just days after reaching an agreement with the lottery company Sazka on pick-up points, Czech Post has reached an agreement with the Chinese online store AliExpress. The deal is expected to allow the Czech Republic to join the list of companies that allows goods ordered on AliExpress to be delivered within ten days. A pilot project is being rolled out November 11 that will allow Czechs to take delivery of goods at a reduced rate, arriving via a cargo hub in Belgium. Until now, it's been taking two weeks more more for customers to receive orders. "Cooperation with Czech Post is a logical step for this global e-shop because we offer the widest logistical network in the Czech Republic," said its manager of international sales Martin Hurda. He said that goods ordered in this way will not be subject to additional VAT or import duties. The number of Czech customers on AliExpress has been increasing in recent years. The company opened its first European store in Madrid last August.
