Dan Șucu Opens New Mobexpert Store in Eastern Bucharest
Businessman Dan Șucu has opened a new Mobexpert furniture store in eastern Bucharest, matching the size of his flagship location in the Băneasa shopping complex, which is the largest in the Mobexpert network. The new store has been built on the former Policolor industrial platform, on land previously intended for office buildings planned by investors Raul Ciurtin and the Dobra family.
Șucu acquired a 1.2-hectare plot from Raul Ciurtin and Călin and Alina Dobra, part of the larger 14-hectare site formerly occupied by the Policolor paint factory.
On this site, the entrepreneur has developed a new retail complex featuring a two-storey Mobexpert store and a partially connected Altex store with one floor, representing a new retail concept. The Mobexpert Pallady building includes a ground floor and two upper floors, with a footprint of approximately 4,000 square meters and a total area of 12,000 square meters, similar in size to the Mobexpert store in Băneasa. The project required an investment estimated at EUR 10 million.
The Altex store, part of the same development, covers 4,000 square meters and consists of a ground floor and one upper floor.
