Dazzling Night at the CIJ Awards Romania
Last night's CIJ Awards Romania was an a night to remember in what has been a challenging past year. The stars of property came out to celebrate all the nominations and winners for 2021 with a backdrop of live music, delicious food, cocktails from “The Saint” and beverages.
Hosted by Robert Fletcher, CEO/Editor in Chief of CIJ EUROPE said, "It was an amazing night to see so many friends, partners and real estate professionals coming together in celebration and networking again after much time".
Big winners of the night included Dacia One by Atenor in categories Grand Prix (CIJ’s top prize for overall development for 2021), Best Investment Transaction and Best Facades/Exterior Design. Portland Trust picked up two important awards for its J8 project in categories Best Office Development & Developer and Best Office Lease > 10k of the Year with tenant Ubisoft with a take up of 26,084 sqm. One United Property won in categories Best Residential Developer of the Year and Best Co-Working Communities of the Year with One Floreasca City. Biris Goran were awarded Best Real Estate Law Firm and Best Tax & Financial Advisor of the Year 2021. Doron Klein received Leading Property Professional of the Year for his contribution to the market and inspiring professionalism. Best Project Management Company of the Year went to Optim Project Management who have not only produced a record breaking year, but also expanded the business to other countries.

The winners of the competition were selected in a two-stage voting process. A selected jury committee of 3 groups with recognised experts from the real estate, investment, architectural and construction industries. In the second stage an online balloting of 2500 votes were cast from CIJ EUROPE readers. The weighting of the jury committee and online CIJ readers votes, represented 61% and 39% of the final result
The winners of each individual categories also advance as nominations for the Best of the Best CIJ HOF Awards in 2022. The Hall of Fame Awards is the climax to the CIJ Awards series, pitting the winning projects and companies from around Central & Eastern Europe against each other to determine who the Best of the Best really are.
