Decathlon Romania recorded a turnover of RON 1.16 billion for 2021

The French sporting goods retailer Decathlon recorded a turnover of RON 1.16 billion in Romania last year, 22.1 percent more than in 2020, and its net profit rose 10.5 percent to RON 55.6 million. Debts decreased by 9.5 percent to RON 181.7 million.

The average number of employees increased by 28 percent, from 1,177 to 1,507 people.

Decathlon currently has 28 stores nationwide, to which is added the online platform, being present on the Romanian sports retail market since 2009.
The retailer is active in 70 countries and has 105,000 employees.
