Deka Immobilien once again commissions STRABAG PFS with property management

Deka Immobilien has once again entrusted STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) with the technical and commercial management of its property portfolios. The new contracts cover more than 140 properties across Germany and have been renewed for an additional three years, with an option for extension.

The agreement includes comprehensive commercial and technical property management, transaction support, budget planning, and modernization initiatives. Notably, the contract now also encompasses sustainability services provided through eco2consult, STRABAG PFS’s sustainability consulting arm. These services will cover ESG certification, data management, and manage-to-green measures, reflecting a growing emphasis on sustainability in property management.

Marko Bohm, Managing Director of Real Estate Management at STRABAG PFS, expressed enthusiasm about the renewed partnership: “We are delighted and proud to continue our successful collaboration with Deka Immobilien. This contract extension is a strong sign of trust and confirms the outstanding cooperation and joint success in managing this excellent property portfolio.”

The main portfolio predominantly comprises office spaces located in major cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Stuttgart, and Munich. The second portfolio includes retail properties and retail parks situated in smaller locations throughout Germany.
