The volume of land transactions for commercial real estate projects has fallen by less than 10 percent from the 2022 level of EUR 450 million and continues to be considerably above pre-pandemic levels, according to Colliers estimates.

In 2023, the acquisitions of the Helitube and Filan sites in Vergului, bought by Kaufland, Lidl and Hornbach, as well as the Vastint/Aktor site at Timpuri Noi near Musette, were completed. Newer transactions include One United's purchase of the former Vulcan in Progresului and CPI's office land in Dimitrie Pompeiu. Speedwell also bought another plot in Aviației and Adrian Polec bought a plot from Biofarm in Iancu de Hunedoara.

The list is completed by the transaction in Brasov, in which the town hall bought 50 hectares with the former CET Brasov, and the one in Cluj, in which Hexagon bought the former Tehnofrig site, in a transaction of EUR 30-40 million, the biggest in Cluj so far.
