The Israeli real estate developer Dimri bought the land of the former Muntenia oil factory in Bucharest. At the beginning of February 2023, the businessman Dragoș Vasile awarded the 5.7 hectare land at the starting price of the auction of EUR 22 million. The price including VAT amounts to EUR 26.3 million. As the terms of payment were not met, the land was put up for sale again and bought by Dimri through the bailiff.

"This transaction shows the company's confidence and interest in continuing to develop in Romania. Dimri's plan is to build a mixed complex here with almost 2,000 apartments and a retail component. The involvement in a project of such scope shows our future plans for Bucharest", said the company's representatives.

In the Ghencea Extension, Dimri owns a plot of land with an area of 17 hectares on which it plans to develop 25 blocks, 6 swimming pools, an office building and a shopping mall. It has so far delivered 344 apartments, the office building and the shopping mall, and is now completing another 384 apartments. In Pipera, Dimri also owns a plot of land across the street from the American School where the construction of 600 apartments is planned.
