Dogus opens first Hyatt hotel in Croatia

Turkish holding company Dogus opened Hyatt Regency Zadar, the first hotel under the Hyatt brand in Croatia. Hyatt Regency Zadar offers 133 guestrooms and suites, food and beverage venues, more than 740 square metres of event space, and a 1,155-square-meter spa, according to Hyatt Hotels Corporation press release.

"The Balkans is a priority growth area for us, and a destination we are seeing grow in popularity for business and leisure travelers looking to experience both beautiful landscapes and rich cultural heritage," Michel Morauw, managing director at Hyatt, said.

Dogus investef EUR 55 million in the construction of the hotel in Zadar.
