Dorel Poland to relocate to MLP Czeladź logistics center

Dorel Poland, the distributor of Maxi-Cosi car seats and strollers, has signed a lease agreement for space at the MLP Czeladź logistics center. The company will occupy over 3,500 square meters, with the majority allocated to warehouse operations and a portion dedicated to office and social facilities. The relocation is scheduled for December 2025, with Cushman & Wakefield facilitating the transaction.

The move marks a strategic shift for Dorel Poland, which is relocating from Sosnowiec to optimize its logistics processes and enhance customer service. As the Polish branch of Dorel Industries Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of children’s products, furniture, and recreational goods, the company continues to expand its presence in the market. Dorel Industries, established in 1962, operates globally, employing approximately 3,900 people across 22 countries.

According to Tomasz Pietrzak, Leasing Director at MLP Group, the MLP Czeladź logistics center was designed with sustainability in mind. The facility meets high environmental and workplace standards, making it an attractive location for tenants. The logistics park is currently under construction and will eventually comprise four Class A buildings, offering a total of 68,332 square meters of warehouse and production space on a 15.5-hectare site.

Silesia remains a key location for manufacturers and distributors due to its proximity to foreign markets, developed infrastructure, and a population of 4.5 million. Dorel Poland’s decision to relocate within the region highlights these advantages. Konrad Jacewicz of Cushman & Wakefield noted that the new facility aligns with the company’s growth ambitions, providing optimal conditions for further expansion.

MLP Czeladź benefits from strong transport links, situated near the junction of the A4 motorway and the S1 expressway, as well as close to the S86 expressway connecting Łódź with Tychy. The site is 15 kilometers from Katowice International Airport and 11 kilometers from the center of Katowice, offering convenient access for logistics and distribution operations.
