Doron Klein, Deputy CEO of AFI Europe and CEO of AFI Europe Romania & the CZ, speaker at CEDER 2025
Doron Klein will be part of the speakers formula this year at CEDER Real Estate Conference & Exhibition, to take part on 13th of May, at Radisson Blu Hotel, in Bucharest.
Doron began his career at AFI Europe in 2008 and appointed as CEO of the Czech Republic & Germany in 2011. In 2018, he assumed the role of CEO for AFI Europe Romania as well, and in 2023, he was appointed Deputy CEO of AFI Europe Group.
Under his leadership, AFI Europe Romania expanded significantly, completing major acquisitions, including a €310 million standing office portfolio transaction and further land acquisitions expanding the company’s pipeline project development. Key upcoming developments include the first residential for rent project, AFI Home North in 2025 and a comprehensive transformation of the recently acquired Bucharest Financial Plaza into an A Class sustainable mixed-use project.
In the Czech Republic, the company delivered the second phase of its AFI Home Kolbenova project which was added to the AFI Home CZ portfolio spread in three locations, comprising 850 units, and secured additional acquisitions, including two residential projects as well as a strategic partnership to develop up to 1,700 Build-to-Rent apartments in Prague over the next four years.
Doron Klein's regional development pipeline includes additional office buildings, residential projects, and mixed-use developments in the region, with a strong focus on sustainability and long-term growth.
