DP World invests USD 75 million in two new terminals at port of Constanta

The logistics company DP World, one of the largest port operators in the world, has a RORO terminal (Roll-On, Roll-Off - ship loading/unloading mode) and a cargo project terminal under development in the port of Constanta, the value the cumulative investment being USD 75 million (own funds and European grants). In the first phase of the investment, 30 jobs will be created, and in the second phase another 50 people will be employed.

''The RORO terminal will have an area of 7 hectares, the cargo terminal 4.4 hectares, and the investment will also include an office building with spaces dedicated to the control authorities. We estimate the completion of the project between July and September 2023 and the start of operations in the first half of next year'', DP World Constanţa officials said.
