Electric bicycles will be manufactured near Týniště nad Orlicí in Rychnovsk. Czech manufacturer Totem Bikes is heading to Panattoni Park Týniště. It will occupy premises with a total size of 9,900 sqm, of which 9,300 sqm will be the production hall and the remaining 600 sqm will be offices. The tenant will start using the storage part of the hall from September, and the production of e-bikes will start at the end of this year.

"This year we are celebrating ten years since we started working in Týništ nad Orlicí, when we started the construction of the first hall for the Assa Abloy company. I am pleased that we can welcome the Czech company Totem Bikes to the new premises, which was also founded ten years ago and quickly proved that electric bicycles are a great means of transport for all groups of the population. I believe that they will make full use of the provided space for further expansion," says Pavel Sovička, CEO of Panattoni for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

"In recent years, we have fully felt the boom in demand for e-bikes, which is why we soon started looking for a new hall that will be sufficient for the development of our company. Panattoni Park Týniště is completely ideal not only thanks to the modern technologies in the hall, but also good transport services, which will especially help us in faster distribution of our products," says Jakub Ryba, CEO of Totem Bikes.

Panattoni has been expanding the industrial park in Týništ nad Orlicí since last autumn, when, based on the demand for free space, it started the construction of two halls with an area of ​​16,000 sqm
and 9,900 sqm. The tenant of the just completed half of the first hall is the transport and logistics company C.S.CARGO. Here it found a suitable place to expand her services in the field of e-commerce.

"The long-term lack of capacity in industrial zones met with the expansion of the park in Týniště, supported by the exponential growth of the e-commerce sector, clearly confirmed to us that the expansion of our park in Týniště was the right step. We only started the construction of two new halls at the end of last year, and after the announcement of the first tenant in May, we already have additional reinforcements for the new premises. In the coming years, we expect that the demand for rentable areas will grow even more, and thus it will be much more difficult for companies to find suitable premises," adds Pavel Sovička.
