The eMAG group, the largest online retail business in Romania but which also has a strong presence in Hungary and Bulgaria, had revenues of USD 2.3 billion in fiscal year 2022, ended on March 31, up 3 percent compared to the previous year, and with a loss from operations of USD 34 million compared to a profit of USD 80 million in the previous year.

"In front of a strong return of sales from offline stores and problems in global distribution chains, both the gross value of goods and the revenues of eMAG, our leading e-commerce platform in Central Europe and from the East, maintained its size and grew by 3 percent," company officials said.
