ERSTE Immobilien KAG is investing EUR 68 million in an innovative, sustainable residential complex in Vienna-Simmering: In a young residential area on Rosa-Jochmann-Ring 12, 322 low-energy apartments are being built according to the highest sustainability standard (klimaaktiv-Gold).

A total of 16,500 sqm will be created. The heart of the residential complex with its 8 structures is the automatic heating and cooling system coupled to geothermal energy, which was only installed in a few projects of this type. The building complex is to be handed over to the tenants in summer 2024.

ERSTE Immobilien Managing Director Peter Karl is convinced of the sustainable standards of the project: “We are not talking about the type of heating and air conditioning as separate functions. Here a system comes into play that enables heating and cooling in one. The warmth of summer is used to heat in winter."
