Eva Pavlíková to lead newly established Information Technology Section at the Ministry of Interior

Eva Pavlíková, co-founder of the non-profit organization Česko.Digital, has been appointed as the director of the newly established Information Technology Section at the Ministry of Interior. The new division consolidates the ministry’s digitization and IT-related departments, with the primary goal of improving project management and advancing digital transformation efforts.

A key focus of the new section is the digitization of construction management, a project that was previously handled by the Department of Digitization and Information Systems under the leadership of Petr Klán. However, the ministry restructured its approach to digital initiatives following complications in system implementation, leading to Klán’s departure from the ministry.

Under Pavlíková’s leadership, the IT section aims to streamline digital project execution, enhance efficiency, and modernize administrative processes. With her background in technology-driven social initiatives, she is expected to bring innovative approaches to public sector digitization, ensuring greater transparency, efficiency, and user-friendly digital services.

The creation of the IT section reflects a broader effort by the Ministry of Interior to strengthen digital governance and improve public service delivery.
