EY, an international audit, tax, technology, business and transactional advisory services, has extended its lease agreement for over 1,400 sqm of office space in the Imagine complex in Łódź.

EY is a global leader in the professional services market, employing over 7,000 professionals in Poland working in 8 cities: Warsaw, Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Poznan, Wroclaw and Rzeszow, as well as in the EY Shared Services Centre.

EY joined the tenants of the Imagine office complex in Łódź in 2019. The offices of the Łódź branch are located in building A of the Imagine complex, located at the intersection of Piłsudskiego and Śmigłego-Rydza avenues. The company has now concluded a lease agreement for 1,400 sqm of office space. The negotiation process was supported by EY's Real Estate Advisory Team.

"EY is known for its innovative approach to office space development, which is reflected in its plans for leased space. Currently, in all our offices in Poland, we are at the stage of introducing changes to office spaces so that they are even more conducive to collaboration and the exchange of ideas between employees," emphasises Anna Kicińska, Partner at EY Poland, Real Estate Advisory Group Leader.

"The changes being implemented are key to maintaining dynamism and creativity in today's fast-changing business world, which is redefining the function of the office as we knew it until recently. All of this is aimed at creating a space that encourages employees to use the office even more," adds Wojciech Szczepański of EY's Real Estate Advisory Team.

"We are proud that EY has decided to extend the lease at Imagine in Łódź. This proves that our office building meets the expectations of an extremely demanding client. We also see it as an expression of confidence in the quality of our services and a confirmation of the attractiveness of the location. We are convinced that the continuation of our cooperation with such a respected business partner as EY will further strengthen the position of the Imagine complex as a top-class office building in the region," said Mariusz Frąckiewicz, Country Director of Avestus Real Estate in Poland.

The modern Imagine office complex consists of three buildings of A-class technical standard. The two six-storey buildings offer a total of 17,200 sqm of commercial space - 14,800 sqm of office space and 2,400 sqm of retail and service space. The third building includes an above-ground parking garage, offering 356 parking spaces and 49 double bicycle racks.

The highest quality of finishing and the use of modern energy-efficient solutions (confirmed by the BREEAM Interim Design Stage certification at the ‘Excellent’ level) are not the only advantages of the complex. Its advantage is also the excellent location in the centre of Łódź, within the Special Economic Zone, which guarantees numerous benefits to entrepreneurs who have their companies headquartered here.
