The Farmec company from Cluj-Napoca, the largest local producer of cosmetics, will build a new factory in the Apahida commune, an investment of over EUR 40 million, the plan being to relocate the entire production from Cluj-Napoca to the village of Dezmir. The current facility in Cluj-Napoca will function only as office space.

Construction of the new facility is expected to begin next year, with completion expected within three years. The investment will increase production capacity by up to 100 percent.

"The relocation of production in the coming years to Apahida represents a historic decision for Farmec and, with it, we expect a positive evolution of financial results, says Mircea Turdean, General Manager of Farmec.
