Flexicare Deutschland moves into 6,000 sqm of warehouse in Wiehl, North Rhine-Westphalia

A real estate investment company has acquired a logistics property with around 6,000 square meters of warehouse and office space in Wiehl, North Rhine-Westphalia. The new tenant of the property is Flexicare Deutschland. The seller of the property and the approximately 11,000 square meters of land is Motea GmbH. Logivest acted in an advisory capacity during the brokerage and purchase of the property.

Flexicare will use the facility as its main distribution center for the local market. As a developer and global supplier of innovative medical products such as anesthesia systems or ventilation filters, Flexicare is on an expansion course and was therefore looking for a suitable site with good transport links and a developed infrastructure.

"Thanks to its direct freeway access and proximity to the Rhenish metropolises, Wiehl is a very interesting location for logistics that definitely still has potential," says Ilias Krause, Consultant Industrial and Logistics Letting at Logivest NRW in Cologne.

However, the property was not only convincing because of its location. Architecturally, the property is also a real highlight, which also stands out from other warehouses due to the installation of extensive office space and configurable racking systems, ideal for fast-moving products. Access is via several ramps. The property has sufficient maneuvering space and several parking spaces.
