The French luxury brand Guerlain, which produces perfumes, skin care products and make-up, with a history of 190 years, owned by the Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton group, entered the local market directly, opening its own store in Baneasa Shopping City. At the moment, Guerlain products were available on the local market only through networks of profile stores, such as Sephora, Douglas, Marionnaud, but also through online trading platforms.

The first Guerlain store was opened in 1828 in Paris by Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain, perfumer, chemist, inventor and researcher. Since then, five successive generations have run the company, until 1994, when it was acquired by the LVMH group
