The town of Fulnek in Novojičínsko is preparing to sell 14 plots of land in the Stachovice area intended for the construction of family houses. The sale will take place in November in the form of an electronic auction, interested parties can submit their applications until October 27. The asking price is CZK 1,060 per square meter. The city is thus trying to bring in new residents, according to Lenka Gulašiová on behalf of the Fulnec town hall.

"The starting price is very favorable, given only by the sum of the estimated price of the land and the direct costs of networking. We want the price to be affordable for young families, for whom we are preparing the necessary facilities in the city, including a new low-cost kindergarten," said Fulnec mayor Petr Ertelt.

According to him, the city deducted from the price of each plot a subsidy of CZK 150,000, which it received from national subsidies for building the infrastructure for each plot. The offered land is in a quiet zone, and the transport and technical infrastructure there will be completed in the first half of next year. It will be possible to build there immediately.

The mayor said that the offer of plots is one of the many steps taken by the town hall to bring new residents to Fulnek, or to enable the locals to create their own facilities. After the zoning change, the city plans to offer six more plots of land in Stachovice and plans to offer plots in other locations as well.

"We are already waiting for permission from the building authority to network 12 parcels directly in Fulnek, where we expect to sell at the beginning of 2023. This is the location Behind the Monastery. The third place where construction should start is four plots of land in Vlkovice and also another location in Fulnek above the local sports complex," said Ertelt.
