Romanian furniture production rose in 2021 by about 8 percent compared to the previous year, after a considerable decrease in 2020, according to data from the Romanian Furniture Manufacturers Association. Furniture exports reached EUR 2.2 billion in 2021, up 10 percent from 2020.

"After a very unpredictable 2020, an extremely intense 2021 year has come. Regarding 2021, we can say that the furniture and accessories market remained in the attention of the Romanian consumer. It was a period of growth both for the furniture and decoration market in Romania, and for the Mobexpert activity. In this context, we managed to end the year with a 15 percent increase in the retail area. The offline area brought in most of the company's revenue share, as customers prefer to come to stores, see and test Mobexpert products, ” says Adelina Badea, CEO of Mobexpert.
