The developer Genesis Property announces that the electricity that powers all the projects in the portfolio, namely the office buildings in the West Gate Business District and YUNITY Park business parks, as well as the West Gate Studios residential buildings, comes entirely from renewable sources.

"The electricity with which the buildings owned by Genesis Property are supplied is currently also provided by the own production generated by the 1,080 photovoltaic panels installed on the roofs of all the buildings in YUNITY Park, responsible for generating an amount of approximately 680 MWh annually", say the representatives of the company.

According to them, all Genesis Property buildings have BREEAM Very Good certification since 2013, and initiatives such as the "European Green Deal", which aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2050, have led the company to initiate an extensive investment process in sustainability as early as 2020 and to aim at the goal of achieving net zero carbon dioxide emissions 10 years earlier, i.e. by 2040.
