Gran Via Romania, the local division of the Spanish developer, will put the Gran Via Marina project in Constanta on hold due to the slow pace of sales and low demand in the city.

"The project in Constanta will be put on hold because sales are not going very well. I have also spoken to other developers in Constanta and they have the same problem. The difference between Constanta and what is being developed on the coast is that we are targeting Constanta and the sea is targeting the Romanian population," said Antoanela Comșa, president of Gran Via Romania.

Romania's entry into Schengen will not change much the attractiveness of the port of Constanta in the coming years without a functional ring road to the capital and a fast road along the Olt Valley, which is why the economic situation of the city will not change very soon, believes Antoanela Comșa, president of Gran Via Romania.
