Granit Polus purchases Hilton Budapest City

Hilton Budapest City, located next to Nyugati Railway station has been sold to Granit Polus for an undisclosed feed. Miklós Gyertyánfy, the director of asset management for the Granit Polus group has declared the company will invest EUR 10m towards renovating the hotel that will have 230 rooms and 13 meeting rooms. The new owners have also announced that the as of summer 2021 the hotel will be renamed Crowne Plaza Hotel, which is a brand belonging to the InterContinental Hotels group.
