Logistics service provider H.Essers has acquired the French transport company TFMO.

TFMO has a team of approximately 200 employees and a fleet of 152 vehicles and specializes in the road transport of goods, especially for the medical and food sectors.

"We are very pleased to welcome the TFMO team to the H.Essers family. The company's expertise and strong local network will strengthen our position in the French market, and significantly increase our ability to offer high-quality temperature-controlled transport services," emphasizes Christopher Van den Daele, COO Transport at H.Essers. “This acquisition also opens the door to exciting opportunities, such as adding our own healthcare crossdock and expanding our LTL concept. It aligns perfectly with our objective to expand our footprint in Europe and complements last year's acquisition of Romano Trasporti in Italy.”

Franck Guerpillon, CEO of TFMO, added: "The acquisition by H.Essers offers our company new opportunities for growth and development. We are confident that the shared values and complementary expertise of the two organizations will lead to a prosperous future for TFMO and its employees. Our customers can also benefit from the additional experience and capacity of this internationally renowned logistics player. This acquisition brings many significant advantages to H.Essers, our employees and our customers.”
