H&M last year in Romania had a business of RON 1.3 billion (from RON 976.7 million in 2002) and a net profit of RON 66.7 million (double compared to RON 32.5 million from the previous year).

The number of employees remained relatively constant, at 924 employees. The company recently delayed the start of some spring/summer campaigns to accommodate shipping delays caused by the security crisis in the Red Sea.

It is for the second time that the branch in Romania passes the RON 1 billion turnover threshold. The last time this happened was in 2019, the last year unaffected by the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which reduced mall traffic.
